ORGANIKA form

A sculptural ORGANIKA form with a strong, flowing shape and a sense of movement from every angle.

The form is built entirely by hand, allowing the clay to shift, curve and settle as it develops. Rather than aiming for symmetry, I follow the movement of the clay and let the shape unfold through the making process.

There is something quite physical about this piece... the weight of the form, the tension through the curves and the way the surface changes as you move around it.

The interior is glazed, but this piece is intended as a sculptural work rather than as a vessel for water.
