Samara is a home grown ceramic artist based in the small seaside town of Pottsville, Australia.
In 2020 Samara touched clay for the first time and it immediately changed her artistic direction. Having a career in interior design, Samara always had a strong connection towards creating and beautiful aesthetics; but clay was different, this was a personal expression.

Self thought in her converted garage home studio, Samara was drawn to hand building large organic forms, experimenting with surface finishes, glaze capabilities and developing a strong sense of her own artistic identity.
The last two years her work has gained recognition, with work exhibited in Paris and as a finalist in the Australian Nation Emerging Art Prize in 2024. (NEAP)
